Il mio primo ospite è l'amico Murray Cooper. Nato in Sud Africa nel 1966, vive in Ecuador da 11 anni. Murray è in assoluto uno dei migliori fotografi naturalisti del Sud America dove ha pubblicato 3 libri. Vanta un archivio di 12.000 immagini, e molti degli uccelli da Lui fotografati sono assolutamente specie rare ed endemiche che appaiono per la prima volta al mondo grazie alle sue fotofrafie. I suoi lavori sono rappresentati a livello internazionale dall'agenzia britannica BBC Natural History Unit, e sono stati pubblicati negli Stati Uniti, Europa, Giappone e Australia. Le sue migliori fotografie ritraggono colibrì in volo, uccelli rari, e la magia dell'inesplorato micro mondo. Il suo archivio è una stravagante e colorata collezione di immagini che rappresentano un misto fra la realtà e i mondi fantastici della foresta pluviale, difficilmente visibili dall'occhio umano in quanto composti da creature troppo piccole, troppo veloci e inverosimilmente sfuggenti. Questo suo lavoro può essere considerata la più dettagliata e profonda collezione di immagini della foresta pluviale Choco; un incredibile luogo che racchiude ancora tanti segreti da scoprire. Non solo Murray lavora nella foresta pluviale Choco ma anche nella foresta pluviale Amazzonica in Ecuador. My first guest is a friend: Murray Cooper. He was born in South Africa in 1966 and he has been living in Ecuador for the last 11 years. He is one of the top nature photographers in South America, where he has published 3 books. He has an archive of over 12000 images and many of the birds are highly rare endemics that are first in the world images. His work is represented internationally by the BBC Natural History Unit picture agency and has been published in the USA, Europe, Japan and Australia. His specialities are hummingbirds in flight, rare birds, and the undiscovered magic of the micro-world. This is a bizzarely colourful collection of images that are a mix of the reality and fantasy worlds of the rainforest that the human eye cannot appreciate unassistead - creatures that are either too small, or too fast, for us to notice the intricate details! This must be the worlds most in depth collection of work on the Chocò Rainforest - an incredibly biodiverse hotspot that is yet to have much documentary work done on it. The other half of the work is taken in the Amazon Raiforest, especially in the agapo black water lagoon systems of Ecuador. I thank you so much.
